Shanice Espiritu-Amador
Shanice Espiritu-Amador is a Sessional Academic for the Crawford School of Public Policy and a researcher for the Development Policy Centre and the Institute for Infrastructure in Society (I2S). She was a part-time lecturer under the Political Science and Development Studies Department of De La Salle University-Manila (Philippines). Her research interests revolve around comparative governance challenges on corruption and anti-corruption policy, risk and transparency. Beyond her academic roles, Shanice also holds extensive public and private sector experience. Her most recent senior role was Deputy Executive Director of a Philippine-based think tank that provided strategic analysis on issues of national concern. Before this, she worked as an external consultant for a development think tank in the US that addressed governance challenges in fragile states. Shanice finished her Master of Public Policy degree specialising in Integrity and Anti-Corruption Policy at the Crawford School of Public Policy. She was a recipient of a study scholarship from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts and is a Philippine board-certified psychometrician.
