ANU Philippines Institute Grants and Awards
Each year, the Institute awards grants to projects that work to advance Philippines-related research activities, outreach, and expertise across ANU. Funding is offered under three main schemes.
We offer:
- Travel grants to undertake research in the Philippines (up to $5,000) **for Australia-based scholars only
- Grants for the establishment of a collaborative research group or project (up to $15,000)
- Grant for one event to be co-hosted with the ANU Philippines Institute (up to $5,000)
Our grants scheme supports projects and events that contribute to the Institute’s overall objectives and priority areas.
ANU Philippines Institute Visiting Fellowships
Each year, the Philippines Institute offers up to four short-term visiting fellowships for outstanding academics based in the Philippines to undertake research at the ANU for up to two months.
Visiting Fellows will work with the Institute in order to develop new research collaborations and/or deepen existing partnerships within ANU and/or other academics across Australia.
Our fellowship scheme supports academics working on projects that strongly align with the Institute’s overall objectives and priority areas.
