Maria Lourdes Quisumbing Baybay
As a professor, she teaches research classes in the Psychology graduate and undergraduate programs of Miriam College, Quezon City. She was the Vice President for Academic Affairs (2016-2019) and the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences (2004-2010) of Miriam College. She started as a faculty of the Behavioral Science Department (1990) and later of the Psychology Department (2000). She is also an accreditor of higher education programs in various colleges and universities for the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities . She was the founding Director (2011-2016) of the Asian University Digital Resource Network, a network of higher education institutions, that advocates the integration of local knowledge into higher education through digital tools. She is the President of the UNESCO-Asia Pacific Network for International Education and Values Education (APNIEVE)-Philippines, a network of educational institutions and educators involved in international education and values education. Dr. Quisumbing-Baybay earned her PhD in Education (Research and Evaluation) from the University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City, her MA in Family Life from Miriam College, Quezon City, and her BA in Behavioral Sciences (magna cum laude) from St. Theresa’s College, Cebu.
