Jurel Yap is a PhD Candidate with the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice, Griffith University. Prior to his PhD studies, he was a Program Manager and Statistician with the School of Government, Ateneo de Manila University working on topics in political economy, dynasties, and public opinion in the Philippines. His research interests are in the intersection of quantitative methods and social science research, applied to geographical data.
