Anna Pineda
Anna studies Philippine archaeology and anthropology, focusing on the Philippine metal age burial practices. She is also interested in studying indigenous material cultures, their evolving meanings, and their relevance to current practices. Anna Pineda previously worked at the University of the Philippines Diliman, Silliman University, and was a consultant researcher for and with various cultural groups. Anna is also a member of Tuklas Pilipinas, Inc., a non-profit organisation established with fellow archaeologists, educators, and cultural heritage workers with the aim of providing accessible archaeological and cultural heritage knowledge to local Philippine schools, government workers, and heritage enthusiasts.
