Aaron Jed Rabena
Aaron Jed Rabena is professorial lecturer at the Asian Center in the University of the Philippines and visiting scholar at the Taiwan Center for Security Studies (TCSS), National Chengchi University. He had served as non-resident fellow at the Pacific Forum Hawaii and visiting fellow at the China Institute of International Studies (CIIS), China Foreign Affairs University (CFAU) and ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute in Singapore. He is also a Pacific Forum Young Leader and is an alumnus of the East-West Center (EWC), the U.S. State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) and the Daniel K. Inouye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies (DKI-APCSS). Jed holds a PhD in International Relations from Shandong University in China and has an executive education in Risk Management from the Asian Institute of Management (AIM). His areas of interest include strategic studies, Greater East Asian geopolitics and multilateral politics, maritime security, political risk, and Chinese politics and foreign policy. Some of his works have appeared at The Diplomat, CSIS Asia Maritime Transparency Initiative (AMTI), Asia-Pacific Bulletin (APB), Pacific Forum PacNet, East Asia Forum (EAF), The Strategist, The Interpreter, RSIS Commentaries, Fulcrum, Channel News Asia (CNA), South China Morning Post (SCMP), and Philippine Daily Inquirer.
