Rommel M. Dascil is a Filipino scholar, academic, and transdisciplinary researcher based at Mariano Marcos State University, specializing in sociology, social science, and philosophy. He has a PhD in Development Management and MA in International Development and Social Change. He was a Fulbright Fellow at Clark University and Fulbright Visiting Scholar at New York University in the United States. His work aims to bridge critical theory and public policy through co-creation of knowledge with stakeholders, generating actionable solutions beyond traditional disciplinary boundaries. His current research focuses on trans-border climate change resilience for vulnerable subnational communities, inclusive public service delivery, and youth engagement in development governance.
