Jason Patalinghug is an associate professor of economics at Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU). He has a PhD in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of Connecticut, a Master of Applied Economics degree from De La Salle University Manila and a BS in Economics from the University of the Philippines Diliman. Aside from SCSU, he has taught at Wesleyan University, the University of New Haven and the University of Hartford. He has also done consulting work for The World Bank and has worked for PA Consulting, the Philippine Institute for Development Studies and the Asian Institute of Management Policy Center.
